Member Dental Reference Information
Well-child visits provide an opportunity to discuss specific dietary habits (e.g., prolonged bottle use, frequent carbohydrate snacks) that could be putting your family at greater risk for dental disease. Since young patients will typically see a physician eight times before their first visit to the dentist, it is important to discuss oral health and water fluoridation with your Primary Care Physician to protect your family’s teeth from dental disease.
When talking with your Primary Care Physician about oral health and fluoridation, the following are various dental programs available for Molina Medicaid, Healthy Michigan Plan and Fee-For-Service Medicaid members.
